UPSC Civil Service Results from Bihar

Last evening, UPSC has declared its result for the Civil Services Examination 2021. You can check the results on its official page upsc.gov.in. All the three top ranks are achieved by girls. Shruti Sharma from Bijnaur, Uttar Pradesh topped UPSC civil services 2021. Second Rank is achieved by Ankita Agrawal from Bihar. Last year Shubham Kumar of Katihar, Bihar topped the exam.

This year over 12 candidates from Bihar has cracked the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2021. They are:

1. Ankita Agrawal, Rank 2. She is a native of Madhepura, Bihar. She has completed her higher education in Kolkata and Delhi.
2. Shubhankar Pratyush, Rank 11. He is a native of Katihar, Bihar.
3. Anshu Priya, Rank 16. She is from Munger, Bihar.
4. Ashish Kumar, Rank 23. He hails from Patna, Bihar.
5. Sailja, Rank 83. She is from Saharsa, Bihar.
6. Aman Kumar, Rank 88. He hails from Katihar, Bihar.
7. Abhinav Kumar, Rank 146. He belongs to Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
8. Subhra, Rank 197. She belongs to Aurangabad, Bihar.
9. Vidya Sagar, Rank 272. He is from Supaul, Bihar.
10. Aman Parakash. Rank 360. He hails from Rohtas, Bihar.
11. Vishal Kumar, Rank 484. He is from Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
12. Paurush Khedia, Rank 542. He is from Khagaria, Bihar.

Last year, three candidates from Bihar secured seats in the top Ten. Whereas, this year only one, Ankita Agrawal Rank 2, has made it in the top ten list.

3. Gamini Singla. Rank 3.
4. Aishwarya Verma. Rank 4.
5. Utkarsh Dwivedi. Rank 5.

The Prelims Examination was conducted by Union Public Service Commission on October 10, 2021 and the PT results were declared on October 29, 2021.

The mains examination was conducted from January 7, 2022 to January 16, 2022. The result for the mains examination was released on March 17, 2022.

The interview was started from April 5, 2022 and the interview process was completed on May 26, 2022.
