Prashant Kishore who is also known as a political strategist has embarked on a Padyatra on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, i.e. October 2, 2022.
This day is the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
He has started the Padyatra from West Champaran District of Bihar.
Gandhi’s Bhitharwa Ashram is located in the West Champaran District of Bihar.
Gandhiji after returning to India in 1915 started his first Satyagrah from the Champaran of Bihar. Taking inspiration from the Mahatma, Kishore has started this Padyatra.
The Padyatra is of 3500 Kms.
Prashant Kishore’s Padyatra is known to have 3 objectives: Identifying people and bring them on a demmocraic front from the grassroots level and making a vision document on Bihar by consulting experts from various facets of life.
The Padyatra may continue for one or one and a half year.
Kishore will try to reach every Panchayat and Block a statement said.
Prashant Kishore runs an organisation known as IPAC which helps political parties in the election campaigns and at various other areas.
The Padyatra of Prashant Kishore is also seen as his entry into the direct political scene of Bihar, by the Political analysts.
