He bought the last minute lotto ticket and later discovered that he won the $20 million grand prize.
Initially, he ignored the call from the powerball officials thinking that the call might be from his office pressurizing him to work.
But later he found out that the call was from powerball officials. He bought the powerball ticket online just before the power ball draw.
He is from Oxenford, 60kms south of Brisbane, and he was routinely buying tickets for the $20 million Powerball because he thinks this number is a nice number.
He also won the second additional prize worth $500000 the same night in second, third and fourth divisions. With this big win he plans to retire early.
